Renovation in Caslano
“In Caslano, in the 60s, the architect Franco Ponti (1921-1984) built the San Michele neighborhood, also called little Venice. An example of ‘organic’ architecture known all over the world for its value.”
The building was created in 1980 in harmony with Ponti’s architectural style, but the planning solutions of bright colors and pale wood did not insert accurately in the context. Thus, the renovation started from the exterior to adapt the villa to the ones planned in the surroundings by the great architect, and later it proceeded with the interior to recreate some distinctive elements of real organic Architecture.
