Brusino Arsizio is located near the Ceresio bank, along the cantonal road between Punta Poiana and the Italian frontier of Porto Ceresio, at the foothill of Monte San Giorgio. The village has an old hart that is inserted in the ISOS (‘Inventario degli isediamenti svizzeri da proteggere’) with numerous narrow pedestrian streets and the houses attached to the main church. Many habitations by the lake have the typical arches. A cable car links the village with the Serpiano, a beautiful place to admire almost the whole lake of Lugano, located down the slopes of Monte San Giorgio.
